Machine Structure 1
This teaching area is reserved for 1st-year students majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science (MI) as well as 1st-year Mathematics (M) students.
The aim is to familiarize students with various aspects of information coding, including how a machine represents an integer, a character, or any real number.The basics of Boolean algebra are also covered in depth.
This course is organized in two parts:
The first part covers typical encodings used to represent data, specifically numbers and characters. It also includes a description of methods utilized on these representations to perform standard arithmetic operations.
The second part, focusing on Boolean algebra, aims to equip students with an understanding of the fundamental rules and applications of Boolean algebra.
