Prerequisite: Before designing a syllabus, the teacher should find out students’ needs and interests, starting from checking their level in English. It is important that students develop understanding of the basic concepts related to their fields of expertise, namely, Economics, Trade, Accounting, Management, and Finance. For further achievements, extensive readings will be given as assignments at the end of each unit. |
||||
General Aim: Only the central theme of the course is suggested, the teacher is free to choose the content of the texts to be given to students. Texts should be between 200 and 400 words long. Hence, each unit needs to be dealt with over 2 sessions with 45 minutes devoted to content and 45 minutes to language and grammar structures. It is worth noting that teachers should choose content that adds real value for the students so that they connect previously acquired concepts in Arabic.
