A Book Chapter Reading:
In any reading you do, whether a chapter or two, of a textbook, it would help, if you are certain of the PURPOSE for reading, in this case the entire chapter.
So, before you read the chapter, establish the ‘purpose’ as to why you want to read the entire chapter, and not half the chapter or three-quarter of a chapter.
How you read the chapter depends on what you are trying to get out of the reading. If you are merely trying to get some information to support your assignment or even a bigger research project, then it may be easier and may take a few readings of the chapter or more particular, the relevant section of the chapter.
