أهداف ومحتوى التعليم : يهدف هذا المقياس إلى تطوير مهارات الطالب في اللغة الانجليزية و تزويده بالمصطلحات و المفاهيم التابعة الأساسية تمهيدا لدراسته المتقدمة في مجال الاختصاص .
حيث يتمكن الطالب من خلال هذا المقياس من:
التحدث: المشاركة في حوارات بسيطة حول مواضيع تابعة للتخصص.الكتابة: صياغة جمل وعبارات بسيطة مرتبطة بالتخصص.
القراءة: فهم نصوص بسيطة باللغة الإنجليزية متعلقة بالتخصص.
الاستماع: فهم المحادثات والمناقشات المتعلقة بمجال التخصص.
الجمهور المستهدف: طلاب السنة الأولى جذع مشترك
طريقة التقييم: تقييم مستمر: 60% للمحاضرات و40% للأعمال الموجهة
المراجع: كتب وقواميس ومواقع إنترنت باللغة الإنجليزية.
