Course Objectives
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
1. Comprehend the meaning of research, along with its objectives and characteristics.
2. Recognise the fundamental concepts related to the field of Research Methodology
3. Comprehend the scientific approach to research and identify its limitations in the social sciences
4. Understand, formulate, and assess research problems
5. Identify and frame research questions, aims, and significance
6. differentiate between various research approaches and designs
Description of the Course
This course provides an overview of the fundamental knowledge required for the research methodology process. It introduces research in the field of education and covers a range of conceptual and methodological aspects essential for successfully conducting research. The primary focus is on enhancing understanding of the rationale behind educational research and developing key research skills.
Prior to taking this course, students must possess some knowledge of science and research, as well as the methodological skills acquired in previous years in the 'TTU' module.
