Course Goals:

Understand complex spoken and written texts, including abstract topics and technical discussions in your field of interest.
Communicate fluently and spontaneously with native speakers without major difficulty.
Express opinions clearly and support arguments with relevant explanations, examples, and justification.
Produce clear, detailed written texts such as essays, reports, and formal emails.
Use a wide range of grammatical structures accurately, including advanced tenses, passive forms, conditionals, modals, and complex sentences.
Expand vocabulary significantly, including idiomatic expressions, phrasal verbs, and topic-specific terms.
Develop listening comprehension for different accents and faster speech.
Improve pronunciation and intonation for clearer, more natural communication.
Handle formal and informal communication appropriately depending on context.
Target public:
Oum ElBouaghi University Teachers from different faculties, institutes, and departments.
Prerequisites:
Strong A2/B1 level proficiency, with the ability to understand and produce simple connected speech.
Ability to communicate in everyday situations with reasonable accuracy.
Good command of basic grammar, including present, past, and future tenses, modals, comparatives, and conditionals (0/1).
Ability to read and understand short articles and everyday texts.
Ability to write simple paragraphs, emails, or descriptions.
Basic listening comprehension of conversations and short audio materials.
Syllabus:

Advanced Skills Practice: Listening, speaking, reading, and writing tasks using more complex and authentic materials.
Communication & Fluency: Discussions, debates, presentations, and real-life speaking activities.
Grammar Development: Advanced structures such as passive voice, conditionals, modals, relative clauses, and complex sentences.
Vocabulary Expansion: Idiomatic expressions, phrasal verbs, academic vocabulary, and topic-specific terms.
Writing Skills: Essays, reports, formal emails, and structured arguments.
Assessment: Quizzes, oral presentations, writing tasks, and a final exam.
