Course Goals:

By the time teachers/learners finish this class, they would be able to:
- Develop their intellectual, personal, and professional abilities.
- Develop and improve their ability to use the four linguistic skills (Listening, speaking, reading, and writing)
- Orally express themselves during discussion groups
- To efficiently communicate in real-life situations ( greeting people, introducing themselves, asking for/giving information, requesting information in a department store,...)
- Improve their grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation (GVP) to work out their English.
Target public:

Oum ElBouaghi University Teachers from different faculties, institutes, and departments.
Prerequisites:

- Level 2 requires the following qualifications:
- Knowledge of Level 1 English Language: communicating in a simple way.
- Understanding and using very common everyday expressions in English language.
- Limited knowledge of vocabulary. According to CEFR, the vocabulary acquired, at level A1, is roughly 700 words

The unit enables students to:
1- Introduce themselves ( name, job, personal likes and dislikes, daily routine, hobbies...)
2- Test their knowledge of tenses ( present, past, and future), and the short answers (Yes/No questions)
3- Employ frequency adverbs.
4- Pronounce final "s" in the simple present ( 3rd person singular)

This unit enables students to:
- Practice more the difference between the simple present and present continuous.
- Employ adjectives for describing people, feelings, shapes, and experiences...

- learn regular and irregular verbs
- pronounce final "ed" in regular verbs
- form adverbs and identify their types and place in the sentence
- use prepositions of time (on, in, and at)
