Educational psychology

The branch of psychology that is focused largely on the application of psychological principles (intelligence, motivation, individual differences, behavior, personality...etc.) to the study of human learning and development in educational settings.


English as an international language

also Global English

A term used to describe the use of English as a world language rather than simply the language of native-speakers of English. Global English emphasizes that English is spoken as a first, second or foreign language both within and across national borders around the world, and that in many situations “native-speaker” accents are not considered necessary or even desirable.
