Course Goals:
Develop a global and detailed understanding of spoken and written texts on familiar topics.
Improve oral communication in everyday situations.
Strengthen grammatical mastery and expand vocabulary.
Achieve sufficient linguistic autonomy to interact with English speakers on common topics.
Target public:
Oum ElBouaghi University Teachers from different faculties, institutes, and departments.
Prerequisites:

Basic understanding of English (A2 level): ability to understand simple sentences and everyday expressions.
Ability to communicate in familiar situations using simple phrases.
Basic grammar knowledge: present tenses, past simple, questions, negatives.
Basic vocabulary related to daily life (family, routines, food, travel).
Ability to read and write short, simple texts.
Course Outline:
Skills Development: Listening, speaking, reading, and writing on familiar, everyday topics.
Communication Practice: Role-plays and discussions to improve fluency and confidence.
Grammar Focus: Key tenses, modals, comparatives, conditionals, and sentence structure.
Vocabulary Building: Daily life topics (travel, work, health, technology) and useful expressions.
Assessment: Quizzes, short writing tasks, oral activities, and a final test.
Assessment Methods
60% Exam and 40% TD mark
