Learning Objectives:
This course aims to develop a culture of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial spirit by providing students with knowledge related to:oncepts of entrepreneurship and its various forms. Trends, characteristics, and skills necessary for creating projects.The social and economic environment that contributes to the spread of entrepreneurial culture. Building a future vision and understanding one's professional personality and practical abilities to create their own project.
Specific Objectives:
- Mastering the concepts related to entrepreneurship.
- Recognizing the importance of entrepreneurial culture in society and the economy.
- Identifying different forms of entrepreneurship that students can engage in.
-Understanding the social and economic environment of entrepreneurship.
- Mastering the process of creating an entrepreneurial project.
- Identifying bodies supporting entrepreneurship within the university environment (including all aspects of implementing Decision 1275: University Degree/Start-up - University Degree/Patent).
Prerequisite Knowledge:
- Prior knowledge of the concept of a company and its classifications.
- Students must be involved in the business incubator of their university and benefit from various training courses, seminars, lectures, and workshops related to the mechanism of incubating and supporting students and their project ideas starting from the first year of university.
Course Content:
1- Defining Entrepreneurship and the Entrepreneur: Concept and origins, focusing on definitions provided by the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM).Historical development. Dimensions of entrepreneurship: Creativity and innovation (with clarification of the difference between them), and other dimensions such as initiative and risk-taking. Characteristics of entrepreneurship. Characteristics and traits of entrepreneurs.The role of entrepreneurship at the economic, social, and environmental levels.
2- Forms of Entrepreneurship: Starting a new business. Buying an existing business. Intrapreneurship.
3- Stages of Establishing an Entrepreneurial Project: Finding the idea (stages, sources, methods).
4- Formulating the plan and feasibility (Business Model Canvas (BMC), Business Plan), implementation process.
5- Social and Economic Environment: Entrepreneurial support and guidance structures in Algeria (definition, missions, importance, stages of support and guidance, etc.). Funding bodies for entrepreneurial projects in Algeria.
6- Start-ups in Algeria: Concept and context of emergence, characteristics, what distinguishes a start-up from a typical company, requirements for its success and its obstacles, presentation of national and international experiences of start-ups.
7-Developing Entrepreneurial Orientation in the University Environment: Entrepreneurial education. Entrepreneurial support structures within the university: Entrepreneurship House, Business Incubator, Technology and Innovation Support Center (CATI), University-Business Link Center (BLUE), University Degree/Start-up - University Degree/Patent.
